Shamanic Work
It is believed that when we suffer an emotional or physical trauma a piece of our soul flees the body in order to survive the experience. Traumas can be any kind of abuse (sexual, physical. emotional), surgery, addictions, divorce, death of a loved one, being in an accident, acting against morals, being in a natural disaster. Basically, any event that causes shock could cause soul loss.
A shaman is one who knows with the heart and sees with the heart. Shamans heal from the perspective that illness is a form of soul loss and/or spiritual intrusion. Shamans define soul and spirit as our life force, which is the part that keeps us feeling fully alive and thriving. The various types of healing Shaman perform are assisting in the retrieval of power animals and spirit guides, soul retrieval and extraction work.
Mary uses her skills to work with the energetic world. Our guides there are meant to help rewrite our story, having different versions/perspectives than what we have. Mary journeys to the trance-like beat of her drum Moose to change consciousness to seeing other worlds in order to get information, messages, and to fix unbalanced energies. Mary has been practicing Shamanism for over a decade now. She is trained by Michael Harner’s Foundation for Shamanic Studies, Mara Clear Spring and The Advocates International Corporation.
