Mary Owen is “the best” massage therapist I have ever
had the lucky chance of finding. She has helped me tremendously with my
pain incurred from fibromyalgia, multiple car accidents, low back
problems, temporal-mandible joint disorder (TMJ), and a neck fusionat
C5 and C6. She is so full of energy; always very enthusiastic and positive, all the while being extremely professional. While she performs her massage, she constantly enlightens and educates you on preventive measures towards later use. I highly recommend Mary to anyone seeking relief from pain.

I was recovering from cancer surgery at the time I started my treatment with Mary. I was depressed, stiff, tense, stressed out, irritable, had painful headaches and TMJ pain. I decided to try massage therapy since the pain I was experiencing on a daily basis was so extreme. I do not like strangers touching my body and for that reason I never had a massage before, needless to say, I was a little nervous at the beginning of my therapy. Today, I look forward to my weekly massage with Mary. The pain is gone, my stress levels are manageable, I am in a good mood all the time and my family and co-workers appreciate that! My endocrinologist changed my prescription because I have more energy and I am no longer depressed. Mary’s care and professionalism is outstanding, thanks to her experience as a massage therapist, I am able to enjoy life again because I feel so much better all the time.
I came to Mary Owen when I was in a car accident on May 2nd
of this year. I was rear-ended, causing me to have whiplash and major
headache problems. I would wake up a lot in the middle of the night
because of these pains.
Mary talked me through what my problem areas were, and she put a lot of faith in me; these muscles were indeed tight and deep, but they just needed to be worked on to loosen up and surface. I would get better if I came to see her often in order for the tightness and tension of the muscles to eventually subside.
Now that those deep, tight muscles in my neck are surfacing, they have become much looser and more mobile. Every day is a process but our bodies are meant to heal themselves - the more time and patience and attention you give it, the better and more incredible the results. The road to recovery isn't an easy one, but with the patience and discipline of taking care of yourself through massage, it makes it a much easier approach.
Keeping on the healing path,
